who I am

davidhacks.com is the web design and app development service of David, based in New Jersey, USA. Contact: david@knexmail.com or (201) 667-7226.

quotes & pricing

Listed prices ($375 starter, $1,999 complex, $10,000 enterprise) are starting points, not fixed quotes. Every project gets a written quote before work begins.
A quote covers the scope described in it. New requests mid-project ("scope changes") may change the price — I'll always tell you before charging more.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

projects & payment

Work starts after the quote is accepted and any agreed deposit is paid.
Payment terms (deposit, milestones, final balance) are set per project in the quote.
Until final payment, delivered work remains my property. On full payment, you own the final deliverables for your business use.
I may keep general-purpose code, tooling, and know-how developed during the project, and may show completed work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.

your responsibilities

Content you supply (text, images, logos, product data) must be yours to use. You're responsible for having the rights to it.
Third-party costs are yours unless quoted otherwise: domains, hosting, app store developer accounts, paid APIs, ad spend.
You're responsible for your business's legal compliance (e.g., your own privacy policy, sales tax, industry rules). I build to spec; I'm not a law firm.

timelines & revisions

I quote realistic timelines and hit them. Delays caused by waiting on your content or approvals extend the timeline accordingly. Each project includes the revision rounds stated in its quote; additional rounds are billed at an agreed rate.

warranties & liability

I fix defects in delivered work reported within 30 days of delivery, free.
This website and its content are provided "as is". I don't guarantee specific business results (rankings, sales, downloads) — nobody honestly can.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.

third-party services

Builds commonly rely on services like Cloudflare, app stores, and payment processors. Their availability and terms are theirs, not mine — I integrate them well but don't control them.

changes & governing law

These terms may be updated; the date above changes when they do. They're governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest still stand.
